Beliefs

  • Trinity

We believe there is but one living and true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16; 1 John 5:7).

  • Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who suffered, was crucified, died, and was buried, to reconcile us to the Father. We believe Jesus rose again from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and remains there until He returns again to judge all men at the last day (Luke 24:1-7; Romans 1:4; Colossians 2:9).

We believe Jesus Christ shed His blood for the forgiveness of sins and to break the power of sin in the believer's life (Romans 3:25; Ephesians 2:1-10; 1 John 3:5-10).

  • The Holy Bible

We believe the Holy Bible to be the infallible and inspired word of God( 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21).

  • Faith

We believe we are justified by faith when we repent of our sins, and believe in Jesus Christ. Mark 1:15; Acts 13:38-39; Romans 5:1

  • Sanctification

We believe in sanctification, which delivers us from the power and dominion of sin ( 1 John 1:9, 2:1). It is followed by life-long growth in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:16; 2 Peter 3:18; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24).

  • The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit was active in the Old Testament and given to Jesus' Church in fullness at Pentecost. He empowers Christians for service and witness, cleanses man from the old nature, and conforms us to the image of Christ. The baptism in the Holy Spirit, subsequent to conversion, releases the fullness of the Spirit and is evidenced by speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance also by the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit. We encourage every believer to lead a Holy Spirit-filled (controlled) life ( Acts 2:1-4, 10:44-46, 19:6, Galatians 5:22-26; Ephesians 5:18-21).

  • Divine Healing

We believe divine healing for the body and soul is available through what Jesus accomplished in His death and atonement on the Cross ( Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:14-18; James 5:14-16). We do not condemn medical science.

  • Second Coming

We believe Jesus Christ will return again (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; Titus 2:13; 2 Peter 3:1-4; Matthew 24:29-44), and we love and wait for His appearing (2 Timothy 4:8). We believe in the imminent rapture of the church, and the personal, pre-millennial Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • The Great Commission

We believe it is the responsibility of every believer to dedicate his life to carrying out the work of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; Acts 1:8).

  • Heaven and Hell

We believe in a literal Heaven and Hell (Psalm 9:17; Matthew 25:46; Revelation 21:7-8).

  • Marriage

We believe in the sacredness of marriage between one man and one woman. We promote commitment to strong family values. Ephesians 5:31-33; 6:1-4; Hebrews 13:4; Matthew 19:5; Leviticus 18:22; Genesis 2:24.
